Lessons From Narnia
Section Title
This February, a new adventure begins! On the third Friday of each month, families and adults alike are invited to gather for dinner and step together into the world of The Chronicles of Narnia. Across these evenings, we’ll journey through the novels one by one, uncovering the rich and exciting lessons within these stories—tales of bravery and betrayal, sacrifice and redemption, temptation and triumph. Beneath the wonder and imagination, we’ll discover how these books speak powerfully to faith, virtue, and the shaping of the Christian life.
These nights are for everyone. Children and teens will encounter stories that stir the imagination, while adults will engage with their deeper theological and moral themes. A nursery will be available for our youngest children, making it possible for the whole family to come.
Each gathering will include dinner, a short talk, and meaningful discussion, offering space to share, wonder, and grow together across generations. Whether Narnia is like revisiting an old friend or a door you’ve never opened before, this is an invitation to adventure, reflection, and joy! Invite your friends and join us!
These evenings will be co-led by Fr. Jason and Chelsea Hamshaw, bringing together pastoral insight, theological reflection, and a love for story, music, and imagination.

We will begin with The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. If you need help purchasing the books, please let us know! We wouldn't want that to be a hindrance to anyone!
Please sign up below if you are interested or planning to attend, so that we can make plans accordingly.
We have a suggested reading plan for those who find it helpful, but feel free to read at your own pace!
